Runestone Elska - 4/25/06 - 3/20/18

Elska was our first ‘Icie’ from Runestone Icelandics. The name, Elska, means Loving One. Although she is a bit non-typical in her size and coat, we fell in love with the breed due to her personality. She had an outstanding recall and stuck to her family like a magnet. We felt she was too small to breed, but she was the queen.

Runestone Thora 'Piper'

Elaine mentioned she noticed early on that Piper would make a great mother. She was spot on, she is a 'stay out of my way' girl in the whelping box. She is very attentive and calm. So far she has had smaller litters, but the pups have been very large and very healthy.

Runestone Gryla fra Arnleifur

Piper's first puppy with Fox Meadow Thorra Kari 'Vetur'. What a character. She has the entire spectrum of personality. From cuddling to play fighting, She greets everyone, family or not, like she hasn't seen you in days, and each and every one of us is her favorite person. We have already picked out a mate for Gryla. Little Gryla is having her first litter in January 2019.

Arnleifur Grimmulfr

Piper’s third litter, like the first, only produced one beautiful pup. Grimmulfr is a very special boy. With all the beauty of his parents and the Champion bloodline of his father, Grimmulfr has a great ‘Icie’ confirmation. He is a stunning boy, he is bright and very athletic.

Pikatti’s Hjarta Hulda ‘Kela’

Our newest little girl. A very special pup from Pikatti Icelandics and Jenifer Brimmer. Adopted 10/1/20, we had a wonderful trip to Indiana to pick up this beautiful girl and bring her home to Maryland and Arnleifur. Hulda is stunning with outstanding confirmation and an even better personality. Smart, confident, loving, and inquisitive.
